Cheap calls and available from where ever you access the Internet.<br />What happens, however, when VoIP is being blocked by your ISP; as is the case in many ME Countries. <br />Ingenious expats are getting onto the VPN bandwagon but that just puts up the cost of those cheap calls home to family.<br />Now, using a Soft phone or Mobile Phone Dialer from sites like (www.expatcall .com) you can download and install software on your PC or Mobile Phone that tunnels through blocks put up by ISPs. <br />All you need is an Internet connection. <br />Your laptop and mobile phone travel with you and the software works where you go. <br />Cheap calls as well, starting at 3.4 cents a minute to UK, America, Canada and Australia.<br />Worth checking out.
