I agree, a week at...</title><content type='html'>Thanks for your kind comments!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I agree, a week at a local hotel, especially at one of the &amp;quot;all inclusive&amp;quot; hotels will give you very little feel for the true charm of Vallarta and the many things to do in this beautiful city.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is very little crime (much less than any city of comparable size in the US) in Vallarta and serious crime is virtually non-existant because guns are against the law in Mexico.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Regarding where to live and where to avoid living; it all depends on your budget! Please give me a call at 1-800-525-1743 and I&amp;#39;ll be happy to give you some input as to where you should look.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are certain areas where no car is necessary and of course others where it is. Driving in PV is quite simple (once you get the hang of the left turns!) but parking can sometimes be difficult. Most of our friends have been driving there for years with no problems but a couple of the gals just use cabs. Is crime visible or a concern? When looking for a residence there, are there areas to avoid?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, do you (need to) have a car there?
